A little video I made recently…

As I was scrambling through my site and making little adjustments, I had an urge to peek through the visitors of my blog. As I was going through the list I found a link that wasn’t frequent – what I’m used to seeing is Facebook, people searching for client’s name on google, searching p-your vision on google – that sorta thing. Being the curious boy (don’t wanna grow up) that I am I clicked on the link and it brought me here. I felt very privileged and acknowledged when I saw it especially knowing that The Knot plays a huge role in the wedding industry in North America and beyond. I would like to personally thank the staff at The Knot for putting a smile on my hard work. I hope Sivanuja and Hiran are both overwhelmed as I am for this recognition. While I’m preparing myself for next year and at the same finishing off projects from this year to hand back to clients – I will look back on this and say “good thing I checked my blog stats!”.

Long nights thinking about something unique for Kavi & Chen will payoff soon, I hope. Last weekend we met with Kavi & Chen to create something different for their Save the Date clip – we were blessed with some beautiful early November weather, which is rare by the way. Both were up to the challenge of acting without going to classes. I must say that they did an awesome job… but I don’t want to tell you the whole story for a teaser that you are about to jump into (Plus I need more to write once the official clip goes up).
Tease away….

My favourite season is definitely autumn, minus the cold of course. The bright reds, yellows and oranges in the leaves adds some ‘ping’ in pictures and of course ‘moving pictures’. You just gotta anticipate the cold and rain that might follow the luscious colours and thats what we had on the day of Sutha and Dharuni’s wedding. It was raining the morning of, yet there was still laughter and joy being shared. This clip was shown at their reception following their Buddhist ceremony the next day. I added some clips from the 2nd day onto this edit also, it was too good to pass up. I hope everyone enjoys this clip – happy watching!
Special thanks to Evan C. King – always on top of the game!

About a month ago we posted Siva’s and Hiran’s Part I of their wedding and we got great feedback from the lovely couple. This clip that you are about to venture with us on is Part II of their wedding, where they had a catholic ceremony and the reception. As wedding cinematographers, we look for couples like Sivanuja and Hiran to make our day that much easier and to make our videos have that spark that we all look for. For the Part I we chose a song that was sung by a male voice, something Hiran would sing to Sivanuja. In this clip we decided to use a female voice, something Sivanuja would sing to Hiran.
Enjoy
