The Kailaikal Team had been rigourously working on the 2009 Kalaikal Show for quite some time. They approached me knowing that they wanted a commercial but let me work on the concept – which I appreciate. So they gathered a great team to market this years Kalaikal Show; Tharan from Naritus for the web work, Theskar from Delcord Media for the graphic designs and yours truly for the video and motion graphics.

The commercial was fully done from top to bottom – one day for filming the dancers and then a couple of days for the post work. Unfortunately I could not attend the show as I had another shoot that same day, but the show turned out fantastic from what I hear. Congrats to the Kalaikal Team for a putting on a great show and also to the winners of the competition – York University Huskies.

January 3, 2009

I know… I know… I haven’t posted anything for a while on my blog. Well I told myself that “Today, Prashanna Sean Jayaseelan will post on his Blog no matter what – even if its 2:05am in the morning”. Well here I am and have nothing else to post.

Jokes aside.

I’ve been busy the last couple of weeks; editing, getting my company exposure, editing, getting ready for the wedding season, editing, saving for new equipments/add-ons, and did I mention editing. Ill be posting this summer with alot of weddings that I will be shooting, so be on the look out for that. It should be a good wedding season this year, I already started booking weddings for next year.

I should probably start talking about this post. Many people probably think “what did Prashanna do in College?”, ok fine people don’t think that. This is just my excuse to post a video of my final 3D commercial that I did in my animation course. The project was to be a 30 sec commercial of a professional/real life product. I had to show emotion/feeling using motion. So I thought why not do a toothpaste commercial and the rest is here:
