The Board Game?

February 9, 2010

It has been a very long time since I have posted anything up on my blog. What better way to start the year off (I know what you’re thinking – you’re thinking that its Feb) with a video clip that I had posted a teaser clip to. Kavi & Chen met me last year and they were looking for something different to do, that was a good start because I was looking for something different to film also. It took me a while to come up with their Save the Date concept, once we had that we then went through the storyboard phase, testing phase and location. Kavi & Chen arrived at the shoot location with their acting face on – I have to say… they did a very good job indeed. My better half was of course with me to help me with everything, I would definitely like to thank her (she’s also my director). Enough written words… more moving pictures… enjoy!

Flight 1807-09

November 9, 2009

Sujee has been wishing for his bollywood actress since childhood and then on July 18th of 2009 – he ends up marrying one. It was definitely a fun wedding to shoot – especially when you got various locations for their park shoot – don’t forget the closeups with fighter jets. Both Sujee and Michelle were wonderful to work with, always up to the challenge. Their entrance was a blast, they were welcomed with standing ovations and Michelle and Sujee repayed them with a little dance. Wishing Michelle and Sujee a wonderful life together from your team at P-your VISION. Enjoy the clip!

An Autumn Next Day Edit

November 3, 2009

My favourite season is definitely autumn, minus the cold of course. The bright reds, yellows and oranges in the leaves adds some ‘ping’ in pictures and of course ‘moving pictures’. You just gotta anticipate the cold and rain that might follow the luscious colours and thats what we had on the day of Sutha and Dharuni’s wedding. It was raining the morning of, yet there was still laughter and joy being shared. This clip was shown at their reception following their Buddhist ceremony the next day. I added some clips from the 2nd day onto this edit also, it was too good to pass up. I hope everyone enjoys this clip – happy watching!
Special thanks to Evan C. King – always on top of the game!

Last weekend, at Theeban & Shamini’s reception, I decided to surprise the lovely couple with a next day edit of their wonderful hindu ceremony. It was an intense one for sure, had to make sure that the couple would love the style that I was about to display. I wanted to make it in a way where you get to see how hindu ceremonies are performed but accentuating the couple’s relationship with everyone around them. Congratulations Theeban & Shamini – wishing a joyous life together from your crew at P-your VISION.

Big Thanks to Evan C. King.

About a month ago we posted Siva’s and Hiran’s Part I of their wedding and we got great feedback from the lovely couple. This clip that you are about to venture with us on is Part II of their wedding, where they had a catholic ceremony and the reception. As wedding cinematographers, we look for couples like Sivanuja and Hiran to make our day that much easier and to make our videos have that spark that we all look for. For the Part I we chose a song that was sung by a male voice, something Hiran would sing to Sivanuja. In this clip we decided to use a female voice, something Sivanuja would sing to Hiran.

Enjoy
