Escape to The Bahamas

February 22, 2010

I hate packing… but packing to go to Bahamas – now that’s exciting. Me and Evan C. King (My trusty sidekick) were off to film Neha & Prakash’s Lost City Wedding and on the way we thought we can film our journey there. This was our first destination wedding but we got inside tips from some friends of ours (Saluting Michael Y. Wong). Oddly enough the weather wasn’t what we expected but the scenery was beautiful so it didn’t hold us back. We will be posting up their wedding soon so check back often.

A quick shout out to Stacey and Meghan from Azure Blue Photography and Leah from Elan Weddings.

Kick back, grab a bahama mama (Bahama’s No.1 drink, don’t know why – it tastes awful) and press play.

Last weekend, at Theeban & Shamini’s reception, I decided to surprise the lovely couple with a next day edit of their wonderful hindu ceremony. It was an intense one for sure, had to make sure that the couple would love the style that I was about to display. I wanted to make it in a way where you get to see how hindu ceremonies are performed but accentuating the couple’s relationship with everyone around them. Congratulations Theeban & Shamini – wishing a joyous life together from your crew at P-your VISION.

Big Thanks to Evan C. King.

About a month ago we posted Siva’s and Hiran’s Part I of their wedding and we got great feedback from the lovely couple. This clip that you are about to venture with us on is Part II of their wedding, where they had a catholic ceremony and the reception. As wedding cinematographers, we look for couples like Sivanuja and Hiran to make our day that much easier and to make our videos have that spark that we all look for. For the Part I we chose a song that was sung by a male voice, something Hiran would sing to Sivanuja. In this clip we decided to use a female voice, something Sivanuja would sing to Hiran.

Enjoy
